Georg Hotar - Managing Director

Georg Hotar, Central European Capital's managing director, is an Austrian national and speaks English, German, French and Czech. He graduated with a BSc Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics and obtained a Master in Finance degree from London Business School. He gained a thorough background in various positions in the international financial services industry.

In 1995/96 he worked as an equity sales trader with IB Austria Securities (now CA IB) in Prague, Czech Republic, followed by the position of equity analyst for the Czech Republic with Carnegie Emerging Markets in London, United Kingdom in 1997.

Between 1997 and 1999 he worked as investment analyst covering the telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) sectors in Central and Eastern Europe with London-based investment firm ICE Securities. In November 1999 Georg joined FFC Fincoord Finance Coordinators Ltd., a Zurich-based finance and management consulting firm providing services to Polish entrepreneurs and private-sector corporates, as senior advisor for capital markets and investors relations.

Georg joined as managing director of Central European Capital LLC in May 2000.
